Residential Addiction Treatment - Round Lake Treatment Centre

The Round Lake Treatment Centre provides a 42, 49 or 55-day residential and motivational, experiential counselling program for clients who:
- Have not fully recovered from the physiological effects of alcohol and drugs;
- Do not require detoxification;
- Are sufficiently emotionally stable to undertake intensive counselling, yet not requiring psychiatric treatment.
Eligibility: All genders, over 19 years of age. Individuals who have been withdrawn from alcohol and mood-altering drugs for a minimum of two (2) weeks and have participated in a minimum of six sessions with an Alcohol and Drug Counsellor or Referral Worker.
Referral Details: Applications are accepted by referral from an alcohol and drug counsellor or referral worker.
Cost: For Status First Nations clients, the treatment is covered by the First Nations Health Authority. No subsidy application is necessary. The client can simply provide their status number on their Application for Treatment. First Nations Health Authority will also pay up to $80 for a medical examination for status clients.
The cost for all other individuals is at a daily rate for residential treatment of $200.00 CDN per day. Upon admission, the total cost of treatment must be paid.
