Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Program
Mental Health - Adult & Senior
Provided by Family Resource Centre Society for the North Okanagan
This three-week program focuses on developing skills based on CBT concepts and practices. It is designed as a psychoeducational experience rather than a therapy group, emphasizing learning and practicing skills rather than processing individual issues in depth. Participation is encouraged but not required, as learning can also occur through listening. The program serves as an introduction to CBT and is not intended to address complex or long-standing mental health conditions, for which individual sessions with a healthcare provider are recommended. Participants are strongly encouraged to actively practice the skills they learn throughout the program.
Session Schedule: Three 2-hour sessions This program is offered online using ZOOM at no cost.
Registration is required. Clients can simply call to register, providing their name, phone number, and email address.
