Newcomer Women's Health Clinic - Vancouver
Immigrant and Refugee Services, Pregnancy Care, Public Health, and Sexual Health
Provided by BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre (BCWH)
- New to Canada (less than 5 years)
- 18 years of age or older
- No regular healthcare provider
Services are provided by a nurse practitioner and include but are not limited to; cervical cancer screening, breast screening, testing for sexually transmitted infections, contraceptive (birth control) counselling, and general women’s healthcare. Women eligible for this service are welcome to attend the clinic for a single visit or multiple visits for up to 2 years.
